Garma is a celebration of the Yolngu cultural inheritance. Regarded as one of Australia’s most significant Indigenous cultural exchanges, Garma attracts clan groups from North East Arnhem Land, as well as neighbouring Indigenous peoples throughout Arnhem Land, the Northern Territory and Australia. Garma enables guests to experience and embrace one of the oldest culture in Australia, and brings people together to share their ideas, values and to negotiate their knowledge in a respectful learning environment.
To ensure the Yothu Yindi Foundation is able to provide you with the best Garma experience, we ask for your help to complete the following before Friday, 29 June 2018.
Naming your Garma Ticket
All guest attending Garma, will be required to present their ticket at the Garma registration desk upon arriving onsite in the guest’s name. To add your name to the ticket, please follow the following steps;
- Log into your YYF membership
- Click on My Order
- Click on View Order
- Click on Name
- Enter your Name
- Click Update
- Click on Email PDF Ticket
- Print your Ticket
Airport Shuttles
The Yothu Yindi Foundation provides all guest with shuttle transfers to/from the Gulkula for any commercial flights arriving between the morning of Thursday, 2nd August and the morning of Tuesday, 7 th August 2018. If you require this service, please complete the FLIGHT DETAILS section within your online registration. To enter your flight details, please follow the below steps;
- Log into your YYF membership
- Click on My Order
- Click on View Order
- Scroll down to the Flight Details section
- Enter your flight information
- Click on the bus transfer box
- Click on Update
